Had some extra time (whole day) and paint.

Viola!

Believe it or not but the paint was a dark gunmetal color on the lid.

The picture made the paint look kinda greenish, buts its not. Its a nice dark gunmetal.

Looks great. Post some pics of it in better light, that will help the color.

when I get ahold of our digital camer I'll take some more. I took this with a cellphone also so im sure thats a factor.

Is it the Duracoat paint? Looks really neat and clean.

no its not. I cant remember what brand it is, I threw away the can a while ago. I'll see if I can dig it out.
