there is always the field in berna just b4 the river if your driving west on 550 its on the right hand side....also isnt there a big field off of like central and 98th??

in berna?? its outlaw right in the bosque so its kinda forest ...there are some bunkers set up too

HEHE Oakflats has the city course witch is really good. But a indoor course would be sweet as well.

one of these days we should play @ the bosque, they made some kinda crazy trenches right near the river looks pretty cool i dont think that water will be flowing through them anytime soon. oh yeah and the field i was thinking of isn't there anymore (98th) it was an actual field though kinda like oak flats it was near the fire academy

It's a good field you got the somewaht open area for more spped ball like games and the back and left side for the more woodsball terrain and games it's the best of both worlds and great for huge games!

hey man bosque is finally closed down because a pedestrian was shot and the cops got involved, so instead of pressing charges they just closed the place down.


Just thought I would let everyone know that my wife has been talking to the law enforcement around this field sherrifs, Bernalillo, sandavol county and BIA police and NOT ONE of them knows anything about this rumor. They actually came and played with us several weekends since this post originated. You would think if it was closed the police entities would not be breaking thier own rules and restrictions to come play with us. :cool:PDT_Armataz_23

Heard from a couple of different people that it is in fact closed now. They were chased out by cops and that next time they'll be getting a citation.

WRONG! It is open and cops have even played there. Robert and his wife have personally got the green light from the rez cops. Not only did the cops say it was legit but they even unlocked the gate to allow players to park in the actual bosque. I live right up the street from this spot and I see people there EVERY weekend (both sat and sun). The only thing thats going to screw it up for people is if a bunch of a-holes leave their trash down there. So if you do go make sure you clean up after yourselves. I was there last sat and there was even a trash bag down there for all you people to lazy to take your s**t w you.

So I went down to the bosque two weekends ago on a saturday, after reading here, and being assured by 2 people that play there regularly that there are always people there on the weekends, and I would have no trouble finding a game. When I got there, there wasnt a soul to be found, except a couple hikers and their dog. Is anyone going to be there anytime soon? because it looks like a really fun field to me.
