You don't need to do anything special Wookie. Just buy it and put it on. There are 4 nuts that attach it to the Weaver Rail that is standard on the Model 98's and A5. See pic below.

yea, but I've got that flatline plastic shroud... Although I'm tempted to pull it off and put my thunderpig 12" on and see how it does...

Oh yeah...I forgot about the plastic shroud. You'll need to do a mod on the shroud with your dremel skills. I've been looking around and can't find a pic with a scope on a 98 with a flatline. Weird. :? I'll keep looking.

He can't attach it to the gun though Samson187. The plastic shroud from the flatline covers the weaver rail. I suppose he could always throw some duct tape or gorilla glue on there. hahahahahahaha

Take off the shroud, it does nothing anyways and looks bad, I never liked mine.

Well, I'm gonna buy Mikes tippman, retro mine back to a standard '98 and probably sell the flatline....

Erk, sorry bud, I already bought Mikes A5 off em. I sent it off to Tippmann today to get new receiver halves. I just bought it to fix it up, sell it, and make a little money. Let me know if you are interested in buying it afterwards so I won't put it on ebay. Sold my A5 on eBay last week for $410....ya boy. Looking to get about the same for this one. If you do want it I would highly suggest getting a HPA tank, it would make all the difference, its pretty much a must have for any low operating pressure marker.
