I am new to Los Alamos. I found the Urban Survivor's website via pbreview.com. When I called Stan Pruitt he told me he had just closed up the operation and moved to Utah. He said a guy named Brad (couldn't remember his last name) was going to try running the games. Any body know Brad or how to get in touch with him?

Will,

Just got a confirmation e-mail for the game on the Ski Hill 8/15 at noon. Would love to see you, Doug, Mateo & some of the others. I keep meaning to get back to Apache after the nice welcome you guys gave us, but we have been playing some rec games up here and saving the drive.

The games on the ski hill just started. I played about 3 weeks ago. You guys with your pumps will do great against this bunch.

Will be good to see you there.

I am not sure when the next game is. As far as I know the games are every three weeks, which means it would be this weekend. However, I haven't heard anything. I may try calling Brad and finding out, and will post up here as soon as I know.

The email I got today:

Hey guys,

So we all know there haven't been any paintball games in a while. We tried for this Saturday but Eric and I have jujitsu testing. And the next Saturday (Oct. 3rd) is homecoming so we couldn't get anyone to go. Therefore we settled for a game the weekend after that (Oct. 10th). This game is only rumored because I haven't cleared it with Brad. But the weather's getting cooler now so our paintball season might be coming to an end here soon. I also thought it would kinda be fun for the very last game of the season be on Halloween (Saturday, Oct. 31st.) and to have everyone who goes dress up in costumes to play in. Just for fun. I will clear these games with Brad over the next few days and once I get the green light I will surely Email you guys.

I think LA.

Haha snowball fight it will be... At least there will be no doubt in your mind weather or not you hit someone.... It gets cold enough, you wont hear "hit" you will be hearing "OH SHIT.... **** **** **** ****! OWWW!!!"

But all in all, it should be fun. I am definitely going to go, as I should have my new Bob Long Alias with ups in by that time... And maybe a pinokio.... not sure. maybe that will wait til next season...

Just received this:

Hey guys,

So just got news from Eric that Brad has given the green-light for a game on Saturday, October 17th. It will take place at the normal spot on the Ski Hill unless plans change or something like that. CO2 fills will be done on site. Any questions feel free to contact me. And I will send another email if plans change. Thanks!

I am down to play both of those games! I have always wanted to play a large, organized civil war game. That would be lots of fun.

And as for the WWI variation, I will gladly supply the machine gun, if someone can provide a hopper that will keep up lol. I can use my eye-force which I use on my spyder, but it wont exactly be machine-gun-esque.

I'm o.k with the WWI idea of trench warfare, but the first idea sounds more like what someone has to go through when they lose a bet! LOL! "If my football team wins, you have to stand out there and you have to take a shot from this distance..." The Revolutionary War was just that in that it introduced a new type of warfare by our guerrilla brothers of another era.

But incorporating the trenches would be totally cool, and I know that my 11-yr old would dig on that more than standing out there waiting for his turn to be one the front line.

A few of my mates cancelled out for making it on Wednesday, but my son and I are definitely planning on coming up. See (and meet) you all then!

Hey guys, we will be having a game on Saturday the 5th, weather permitting.
I know I am down to play if it snows, but I don't think most people will be.

It will be at the usual place, at the usual time.

If you haven't been to one of our games before, head up the ski hill, and there is a little dirt road you turn onto on the left, which is 0.8 miles from the T at the bottom of the hill. I think there is a little sign, or reflector or something next to it. It is a short drive on a dirt trail. It is maybe 1/3rd to 1/2 a mile (I havent measured it), and you should see a wide open parking area on the right, with a white camper 50 yards or so from the parking area (unless the owner finally moved it in the last couple weeks).

Time is 11am. There will be CO2. Bring your own paint/hpa.

We will play a variety of games (our usual rotation) including elimination, capture the flag, red/yellow, and anything else we have a whim to play.

For any questions or info, feel free to call or text me at 412-3236
